The Fallprotec rail system is designed to be permanently installed on a ladder and other vertical or inclined structure such as pylons, buildings, shafts or sewers where maintenance workers are exposed to a risk of falling when performing their work. It also ensures a safe height access. The worker connect himself onto the rail with the trolley VIA 4 which is free to move along the line. The Trolley VIA4 is fitted with an energy absorber and a twist lock karabiner.
